Our Story
The 1st Salon
Hazel & Harley Salon opened its doors in 2014. As my husband and I dreamed of opening our own salon our main goal was to create a space that made stylists feel at home, cared about, and supported in their careers. We wanted to create a space that was welcoming, beautifully and uniquely designed, and comfortable for the client. We spent the next 5 months working day and night alongside close friends and family to create our salon. Through stressful moments, many tears, a few injuries, and the birth of our baby girl Hazel we succeeded in our goal- Hazel & Harley Salon was here. Harley, our son, was born a few years later!
Our first day of construction, me 9 months pregnant, and my husband eagerly excited to get demo started.
Hendrix Salon
Inspired by the success of our first location, and the birth of our son Hendrix it was time to open our 2nd location, located on West 38th in Wheat Ridge. We found an amazing and shockingly large space, with ample parking, that is in the hot spot of West 38th that continues to grow and build. Hendrix salon operates as a commission salon and our main goal was to create a laid-back luxury environment that supported growth, education, and work/life balance. Hendrix salon features a beautifully designed space with 12 booths, 5 shampoo chairs, esthetician room, and large waiting area.
